$17.56 Original price was: $17.56.$15.81Current price is: $15.81.
A full flavoured Malbec with sweet, spicy and intense aromas of ripe red fruits, complemented by subtle floral hints of violets. A well balanced wine with a soft and velvety texture and a rich finish.
The grapes are sourced from Doña Paula’s estate-owned vineyard, Finca el Alto in Ugarteche, Lujan de Cuyo. The vineyard is situated at 1,050 metres above sea level where the soil is nutrient-poor clay. The climate is characterised by warm days and cool nights with an average temperature variation of 14°C, this creates a long ripening period and helps to concentrate the flavours in the berries, while retaining balancing acidity. The vines are trained using the espalier trellis system and drip irrigation is used. The vineyard has always been managed using sustainable practices.

Malbec is a red wine grape variety that is originally from France. It is now primarily grown in Argentina, where it has become one of the country's most successful and recognizable exports. The grape produces a deep purple wine with dark fruit flavors, such as blackberry and plum, along with notes of spice and tobacco.
Malbec wines tend to be full-bodied with moderate acidity and medium to high tannins. They are often aged in oak barrels to give them a smooth, round texture and subtle vanilla or toast flavors. Malbec pairs well with red meats, particularly beef, and hearty, flavorful cheeses.
