Doña Paula Seleccion de Bodega Malbec 2017
$76.63 Original price was: $76.63.$68.97Current price is: $68.97.
One of their premier wines, this 100% Malbec comes from their ‘Alluvia’ vineyard in the Uco Valley and is 1,350 metres above sea level. After cold maceration it underwent a natural fermentation and then spent 16 months in a mix of old and new French oak barriques. On the nose it has an array of really attractive dark plum and berry fruit aromas while on the palate the rich dark fruit flavours show through with a hint of raspberry and mineral notes. The textured structure gives it a refined and sophisticated feel right through to the lingering finish.

Malbec Wine

Malbec is a red wine grape variety that is originally from France. It is now primarily grown in Argentina, where it has become one of the country's most successful and recognizable exports. The grape produces a deep purple wine with dark fruit flavors, such as blackberry and plum, along with notes of spice and tobacco.
Malbec wines tend to be full-bodied with moderate acidity and medium to high tannins. They are often aged in oak barrels to give them a smooth, round texture and subtle vanilla or toast flavors. Malbec pairs well with red meats, particularly beef, and hearty, flavorful cheeses.
