Emiliana Coyam Blend 2019
$62.37 Original price was: $62.37.$56.13Current price is: $56.13.
An organic, elegant and complex Chilean blend of mainly Syrah and Carmenère.
Named after the oak forests that surround Emiliana’s Colchagua home this is the flagship wine of their estate and it doesn’t disappoint. A field blend of their best grapes, it’s full-bodied and intense with aromas of redcurrants, strawberries and blackberries. As the flavours develop in the mouth notes of liquorice and vanilla emerge along with touches of violet. And it’s held together really well with bold, grippy tannins that give an excellent structure.

At the end of the 1990s, Rafael and José Guilisasti were very visionary in perceiving that the market was beginning to change, and global consumers were beginning to consciously choose the products they were consuming, not just in terms of their health, but also due to its environmental and social effects.
Together with visionary winemaker Álvaro Espinoza, they began converting a conventional Chilean winery into a 100% organic and biodynamic winery, with the firm objective of creating wines of the highest quality while respecting people and the environment.
After more than 2 decades, what began as a dream is today a full portfolio of products, with recognitions both domestic and international, that meet the needs of today’s consumer.

Shiraz, also known as Syrah, is a red wine grape variety that is grown in many regions around the world. The grape is known for producing wines with rich, full-bodied, and intense flavors. The wine typically has flavors of dark fruit, such as blackberry and plum, as well as notes of pepper, licorice, and smoke. In warm climates, Shiraz wines can also have a jammy character with high alcohol content.
The wine style can vary depending on where the grape is grown, for example, in Australia, Shiraz wines are typically full-bodied and high in alcohol, with ripe fruit flavors and a relatively high level of oak influence. In the Northern Rhône region of France, the wines tend to be more elegant, with a focus on the grape's natural pepper and meaty notes, and less oak influence. Shiraz pairs well with a variety of hearty and flavorful dishes, especially rich meats such as beef, lamb, and game.
