$125.53 Original price was: $125.53.$112.97Current price is: $112.97.
This Chardonnay is born from the selection of blocks 3 and 6 sourced from the vineyard 22. Its intense and particular aromatic expression makes it unique and gives this wine a great personality. Harvested between the 22nd and 24th of March, the must is obtained by direct pressing, static settling and then fermented at 15ºC. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished and without malolactic fermentation, it is transferred to French oak foudres of 16 months aging.

Otronia

Bodega Otronia is located in the heart of Patagonia on parallel 45'33, on the shores of Lake Musters - called "Otron" by the ancient settlers; probably the last southern frontier for cultivating vines.
It has 50 hectares of organic vineyards, with varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris, being one of the southernmost vineyards in South America and the world. The cold temperatures, the thermal amplitude, the strong winds and the soils make Otronia wines different and unique.
Their philosophy is to produce wines that express the extreme climatic conditions of the place.

Chardonnay is a white wine grape variety that is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world. Chardonnay wines are known for their versatility and a wide range of styles. The grape produces wines that can be very different depending on the growing conditions and winemaking techniques. Chardonnay wines can range from light-bodied and unoaked with flavors of green apple and lemon to full-bodied and rich with flavors of tropical fruit, butter, and oak.
The wine style can vary greatly depending on where it's grown, wines from Burgundy, France tend to be crisp and mineral driven, while in California and Australia, the wine style is often more full-bodied and oaky.
Chardonnay grapes can be harvested at different times depending on the desired style, early-harvested grapes will produce lighter and fruitier wines, while late-harvested grapes will produce wines with more body and complexity. Oak aging can also affect the flavor profile and style of the wine, with flavors of butter, vanilla and toast.
Chardonnay pairs well with a wide range of foods, particularly seafood, chicken, and creamy pasta dishes.
