Biodynamic wines

Biodynamic wine making is an holistic and ecological approach to agriculture that combines principles of organic farming with a spiritual and mystical perspective. It's based on the ideas of Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher and scientist.

It views the farm as a self-sustaining ecosystem, and seeks to create balance and harmony between the plants, animals, and soil. In biodynamic farming, the use of synthetic chemicals and pesticides is avoided, and instead, the farmers rely on natural methods such as crop rotation, composting and the use of natural preparations made from herbs, minerals, and animal manure. It also relies on the use of lunar and astrological rhythms to determine the best time for planting, harvesting, and bottling.
